ED has been working on a sweater since last winter. She has shorn the sheep, carded, spun and plied the wool, and knitted the sweater. She finished it last night. Isn’t it just beautiful?

Fantastic work, ED! Thanks for sharing! We have an event at our county fair called, ‘sheep to shawl.’ A team of women do that same process (working all day every day) in one week during our fair. It is fun to witness.
What a special sweater. That will last to hand down to daughters or sons, I would think!
It is absolutely gorgeous. What an extraordinary person ED is.
What an incredible and awesome accomplishment and what a lovely sweater. She can be very proud of it.
Moonie, I am most struck by what a beautiful young woman you are in your sweater, with your ram and all. I think you could be a model for J Crew or something of the likes- that if if you were in to that sort of thing, which I have a feeling you might not be. Anyways, well done and I am proud to know you.
Beautiful and amazing. She should be so proud.
You’ve done a great job, ED. A cable stitched Irish fisherman’s design, no? It looks almost like mohair. Reminds me of one my mother knitted for me fifty years ago as I entered junior high school in pink and dark gray. Needless to say it never saw the light of day with me inside of it. Besides, there wasn’t anyplace to put my battle axe…
Seriously, congrats on a thorough job, well done.
I’m impressed! I like the understated color and design.
BEAUTIFUL!
Wow what a great job. I’s beautiful! Such a talented girl.
I agree with everyone else. It’s absolutely beautiful. To take it from the animal to the finished product is a real credit to you.
